BLOOD GUARD a finalist for Connecticut's Nutmeg Award!
May happens to be the month of my birthday, and this year I received one of the best presents I could have hoped for—the news that The Blood Guard is one of ten finalists for Connecticut's Nutmeg Award! The ten chosen books will be read over the course of the next year and voted upon by middle grade students early in 2019, with the winner to be announced shortly thereafter.
